Keep Austin Weird
Austin is weird, and they're proud of it. I kept seeing shirts and signs that said "keep Austin weird" all over town. But couldn't find where to buy kid shirts. Seemed they were out all over town.
We were in TX for Mark's cousin's wedding. It was a quick trip, but we enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed seeing the many modern homes. Who would have thought Austin had so many modern homes?

bev your hair is sa dang long! i have hair envy of really long hair because i usually get bored before it gets to that length and can't quite make it there.
do you guys watch friday night lights? we just finished season one on dvd, and it was delicious! it definitely has a soap opera vibe, but the people in it are one thousand times less annoying than in grey's anatomy. it's filmed in and around austin; there's a cute scene about how austin is "arty." this post reminded me of it.
