Muppets Statler & Waldorf: From the Balcony

I've been a big fan of Muppets for as long as I can remember. I ran across this movies.com series of the two cranky old man that sit in the balcony heckling people but now they talk about movies. It's so funny! Check it out.

Let it Snow!

Blizzard of '06 dumped a good foot of snow in our backyard last night. It's the most I've seen in a long time. Beautiful powder, great for making snowballs, igloos, and sledding!

It took us a while to dig up all our snow gear that Evan fell asleep right as we were heading out. But that doesn't stop us from getting Evan's first snow picture! What a cutie! He didn't even flinch when I put him down, and looked so comfortable that I decided to try it myself. And it's just as good as any memory foam mattress. A foot of powdery snow conforms quite nicely to the back.

midweek update

...guess who's teething???


...one thing I (Mark) enjoy about living in this area: meeting a flight attendant for the POTUS (Google it) at an Italian restaurant, and giving a formal briefing for the first time ever to a Colonel and an Admiral (last time was an informal blurb to a General); good thing it was practice, so it was a good chance to get my feet wet!

It's not very often that hello from picasa works this well, so I'll upload until it breaks...oops, spoke too soon...guess that's it! Goodnight! Happy birthday Brian, Abe, and Jen!
